Dangerous love

Rev Steve - 05 May 2015

The author and speaker, John Burke's first book has a title any astute church leader would love to have hanging as a banner over their church entrance door, just as John Burke does; "NO perfect people allowed."

For centuries the false idea of God is that of Him being dissaproving and dissappointed in His people. This is as far away from the truth as east is from the west. God is not dissappointed, He is in love, so much so, that he gave His one and only Son to be the bridging gap that will enable us to once again walk with father God in the garden of His heart. This garden doesn't have shame, fear or condemnation, but, in His Son, Jesus Christ, acceptance, forgiveness, reconciliation, adoption and new life abound.

It is the aim of this minister that ASHP fully exercises such principles for our church family, community and beyond. All Saints Church is a church where 'NO perfect people are allowed', so all are welcome.

So, see you sunday then!

Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting in the church on Tuesday 2nd October and for sharing their views. It was good to hear so many people were keen to give their support to the church as it seeks to find a viable option for the continued provision of community meeting space and a place to worship.

Many people discussed fundraising options following the meeting and the Parochial Church Council (PCC) will discuss these alongside the other issues raised as soon as is practicable and will feed back to you.

In the meantime if anyone wishes to become involved in providing practical support please feel free to call in after any of our Sunday services (9am or 10.30am) and speak to any members of the PCC.

Many blessings, All Saints Church
